Walnut Creek Theatre Company is a local theatre company dedicated to educating children ages 6 – 14 in theatre arts. Their curriculum includes training programs as well as performances opportunities. they strive to prepare children for the pre-professional theatre world, and help them achieve their dreams of being triple threat performers!
About the Owner:
Courtney Lynn Weixel is a local singer and performer. She has been singing in concerts, recitals and musical theatre productions since 2000. Ms. Weixel has also been directing, choreographing and producing children’s musical theatre productions since 2009. In addition to serving as the artistic director for Walnut Creek Theatre Company, Courtney Lynn has worked as the assistant director for Music Box Theatre Company’s Summer Theatre Education Programs and the co instructor for their Jr. Musical Theatre Camps. Courtney has held many featured roles in musical theatre productions including Sandy (Grease) and Smitty (How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying). Courtney loves working with children and helping them grow into accomplished, triple threat performers!
