"Zen Improv" Workshop, $10-20*

Improv naturally encourages many Zen-like attributes. In this workshop, we're going to focus on the ideas of being in the moment as well as having a direct experience of our improvised reality.

Improv is a powerful tool for awareness and catharsis. Not only that, you can use improv to find new ways to communicate with your partners and be one with the group mind.

"Intro To Long Form Improv" Workshop, $10-20*

Improv is an incredibly powerful tool for unlocking the storyteller inside each of us. This class is the perfect opportunity to explore what it feels like to create a character and a world with a group of people and actually live in it for 20-40 minutes. Learn how to be the same character as they react to meeting everyone else, in a world that may be unlike any other you have every lived in.

Learn how to create entire worlds, locations and objects, out of thin air and have everyone believe you.

"Intro To Musical Theater Improv" Workshop, $10-20*

Why is Musical Theater so appealing? In reality, breaking out into song and dance numbers in the middle of serious scenework seems rather contrived. We prefer to think that the singing and dancing happens at the point at which the words are no longer enough alone.

To that end, we'll teach you to do this in an improvised context. In this 2 hour workshop, we'll introduce you to song structure and rhythm, while simultaneously showing you how to dance with your partners, like you rehearsed it.
